We are seeking to recruit an order processing assistant to join our friendly administration / export department;
In this role you will work directly with customers to take their orders. Being friendly and understanding to their needs is crucial to this position, able to read information that might not be well written.
Because as an international company, much of our correspondence is received in foreign languages or Basic English, you will therefore need to try to understand the customer’s needs, online translation is available; however, this is not always accurate and requires a degree of intelligent deduction.
The order processing uses our in house computer system and database systems. As such the candidate will need to be computer literate with and comfortable with basic programs such as E-Mail and Microsoft's Excel and Word. The ability to Create and troubleshoot Excel formulas is a must.
Other Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Answering calls and E-mails from customers. Issuing pro-forma invoice’s, packing and shipping orders with export papers and dealing with local customs, run errands such as post office and shopping for supplies, handling petty cash, stock record keeping, dealing with different currencies, and anything that may be reasonably required within that department.
Other Key Skills:
-Previous book/record keeping experience a benefit
-Excellent organizational skills and speed
-Able to work under own supervision
-Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken
-Excellent telephone manner
-Warm with friendly and outgoing personality
-Energetic team player
-Attention to detail
-Must be a Dog Lover.
Working hours 9am-1pm 2pm-5.30pm Monday to Thursday
9am-1pm 2pm-4.45pm Friday
